Grandma left my mother the recipe for Haios, I took over and learned to prepare this delicacy from my mother, and I hope that one day at least one of my daughters will carry on this habit and the recipe itself.

Ingredients-Dough Cake with Osanza-Haios-Hajos Teszta

640 g flour
3 tablespoons sour cream
3 egg yolks
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons vinegar
mineral water or soda as it contains

240 g flour
600 g ground beef (osanza)

Sheet preparation:

We coat the baked and cooled white sheets on one side with the caramel sugar and let them harden.

Meanwhile, prepare the pudding from the above ingredients and after it has cooled, add the margarine and froth with the mixer.

Assemble the cake as follows: put the first sheet with the caramel on top, add a part of the cream, the cocoa leaf and the cream and the last sheet with the caramel inside. Grease the top with a layer of cream and grate the chocolate. Leave in the fridge for a few hours and portion according to preference


Delicia cake


The egg whites separate from the yolks.

Whisk the egg whites with 200 g of sugar.


Then add the 4 yolks one by one, mixing further.

Add the flour and mix gently, with a spoon, from the bottom up.

When all the flour has been incorporated, add the melted, lukewarm margarine, the baking powder quenched with lemon juice and the vanilla essence.



The resulting mixture is placed in the greased pan.


Bake at 170 degrees for about 20 minutes (until the sheet turns light yellow).

We prepare "Delicia cake cream"


Rub the yolks with the sugar and a tablespoon of water on a water bath.

Separately in a cup of hot water mix the ness with the cocoa.

The gelatin is soaked in cold water and then dissolved in a water bath.
When the yolk mixture has thickened on the water bath, add the cocoa and ness, then add the diyolvated gelatin.

Stir and then cool.

Rub the butter very well until it becomes like a cream, then add the cold cream lightly over the butter.

At the end, add the cherries.
