How to make nutella danube
Dissolve the yeast in a little milk.
In a bowl, mix the remaining milk with the melted butter, sugar, egg and vanilla.
Put 2/3 of the flour in a bowl, make a hole in the center, then pour the liquid mixture (first the one with the yeast, then the one with the butter) in the center and start kneading.
Add the remaining flour and knead the dough until you get a soft dough.
Transfer the dough to a pastry board and knead until a soft and homogeneous dough is obtained. Then cover with a cloth and let it rise for 1 hour.
Once risen, divide the dough into 2 parts.
Roll out each dough on a floured pastry board forming a rectangular sheet with a thickness of about 2-3 mm.
Divide each sheet into 12 squares.
In each square place a teaspoon of Nutella in the center.
Close the squares by joining the corners.
Seal the edges well and give the shape of a ball with your hands.
Then place the balls obtained in a greased mold.
Put the nutella danube to rise for 1 hour and a half in the oven off.
Brush each Danube ball with a beaten egg or milk and bake it at 180 ° C in a pre-heated ventilated oven.
Cook the nutella danube for about 20 minutes or until the surface is golden.
Let it cool before serving.
