In the form of meatballs everything is tastier, in my opinion, and swordfish goes very well with tomato sauce and mint: it might seem like an unusual combination (mint and tomato), but I assure you that it has its own reason, and I suggest you try it. I hope I have found a good version of this beautiful Sicilian recipe ... for sure it was great!

How to make swordfish meatballs with sauce

First clean the swordfish, removing the skin and the central bone, then cut it into pieces and blend it with a mixer.

Combine it in a bowl with chopped parsley and garlic, egg, grated cheese, salt and sliced ​​bread.
Mix all the ingredients until you get a homogeneous mixture, then make meatballs slightly larger than a walnut.

Prepare the sauce: fry the garlic and oil in a large saucepan, then remove the garlic, add the puree, add salt and cook for at least 5 minutes.
Then add the meatballs and continue cooking over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

When the sauce is well reduced, season with salt and add the fresh mint: the swordfish meatballs in the sauce are ready.
