The golden milk (literally golden milk) is a drink made from turmeric widely used in Ayurvedic medicine especially for its properties antioxidants is inflammatory and for the beneficial effects on the immune system and the digestive and metabolic system. During this time I have heard a lot about this cure-all and have done a bit of research around reading that preliminary studies have actually shown that curcumin, active ingredient derived from turmeric, could actually prove to be a valuable aid to fight or prevent numerous diseases and ailments. Obviously this immediately intrigued me and I decided to try to prepare the golden milk too, if only to find out what the taste of turmeric dissolved in sweetened milk had. ° _ ° The recipe is very simple: everything is in preparing the turmeric paste, which you can then keep in the fridge in an airtight jar for about a month. Once you have prepared the turmeric paste, every time you want to prepare your golden milk, all you have to do is mix it with a little milk and honey, add a drop of almond oil ... et voilà! I admit that during the preparation, its strong smell was very discouraging in tasting, but once ready, I found the golden milk a pleasant drink;) If you want to try it too, know that to have the above effects, you will have to take it every morning for at least a month;) I honestly don't know if and what effects the golden milk, but if you are curious to find out, here is the recipe with a lot of step by step photos as always;) Please, then let me know how it went, eh;)
How to make golden milk
Put the turmeric, water and pepper in a saucepan, mix and bring to a boil.
Once you have a cream, let it cool, then put the mixture in a jar and keep in the fridge.
Now that the turmeric paste is ready, prepare the golden milk.
Heat the milk, oil and honey in a saucepan.
Then add a teaspoon of turmeric paste and mix.
And here is the golden milk ready.
