The yogurt braids are gods briochine absolutely fantastic, which you must try at all costs! It had been a while since I had the passion to prepare a brioche dough with yogurt inside, but after a couple of failed experiments I had given up ... until I had an epiphany: I simply started from the recipe of the beautiful briochine and I let myself be guided by instinct for all the necessary changes ... and finally I hit the mark!

How to make yogurt braids
Melt the butter then put it in a bowl with the sugar and mix.
Combine yogurt, honey, vanilla and orange peel.
Put the flour in a bowl, make a hole in the center and put the crumbled yeast, add a couple of tablespoons of water and let it melt.
Now pour the yogurt mixture, add the salt and start kneading.
Knead until you get a soft and homogeneous dough. Then let it rise for about 2 hours or until doubled.
Take the dough, divide it into pieces of about 100 grams each, then divide each ball into three.
Create some cords and then weave them together.
Place the braids obtained on a baking sheet and let them rise again for 1 hour and a half.
Brush with milk, sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Bake in a preheated convection oven at 175 ° C for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Let it cool and serve.
